The Centre for Advanced Software Technology (C.A.S.T.) Ltd is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bangor University and part of the Wales wide Technium programme.  The Technium programme contributes to the development of the Welsh economy by building up commercially valuable technical expertise that helps to form the bedrock of a knowledge economy. C.A.S.T. Limited does this in 3 main ways:

1.    Providing business support to the start-up incubating companies which occupy the Technium building.
2.    Developing and encouraging the use of visualisation technology and applications.
3.    Developing methods of fairness testing of gaming and gambling products – Compliance Testing Laboratory (CTL).
