About CTL The Compliance Testing Laboratory project of CAST was created in 2006 as a response to a requirement for compliance testing from the gambling industry. The requirement was based on the change in gambling legislation in the UK. CTL has a number of unique selling points including close ties in the UK gaming industry, competitive pricing, a world-leading data visualization facility, and access to experts in consumer psychology, statistics and the economics of gambling at our partner organisation, Bangor University. We are conveniently located with excellent connections by road, rail and air to London, Wales, the Midlands, North West England and Dublin. We are happy to receive visitors to our premises by prior arrangement. We are located at the Welsh Assembly's flagship Technium CAST facility in Parc Menai business park 2 miles outside Bangor overlooking the Snowdon mountain range.
